Life for a Child
a film by Academy Award Nominee Edward Lachman, this motion picure tells the stories of three children and their families who endure great personal hardship crossing the mountainous terrain of their native Nepal to receive medical assistance for diabetes.

The film delivers a powerful inspirational message that speaks to the determination of both the diabetics and their families to find medical assistance and Eli Lilly's commitment to bring them the help they need.

Winner, Best Documentary, Cinequest Film Festival, San Jose. Cinequest is the first major annual independent film festival held after the Academy Awards and is one of the largest and most influential film festivals featuring new film makers.

In the Hearts of Africa
is a sequel to the award winning documentary, "Life for a Child".

WLP, Double Wide Media and Ed Lachman produced this heart-rending film about children with diabetes in the Congo.

The film follows Sister Marguerite De Clerk, a Belgian nun and doctor who specializes in Type 1 Diabetes in the Congo. She treats children with diabetes and their families as they struggle with this chronic disease.

"In the Hearts of Africa" was the winner of the Best Short Documentary at the Houston International Film Festival.
